Bhagyanagar (Telangana) – On the night of March 9, police in Dilsukhnagar, Bhagyanagar, resorted to a lathicharge against Hindus celebrating India’s victory in the Champions Trophy final. In Karimnagar, people carrying the national flag were stopped from celebrating, and they were even denied permission to hoist the flag.

1.BJP leader Amit Malviya shared a video of the Dilsukhnagar incident on social media, questioning if this was a new trend in Congress-ruled states and whom they were trying to please.
2.BJP MP from Karimnagar, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, demanded an explanation from Telangana’s Home Minister, Revanth Reddy, asking which country the Karimnagar police were supporting. He questioned why Indians could not celebrate India’s victory, whether banners with Pakistan’s name would be removed, and how a victory celebration became communal.
