New Delhi– “Aurangzeb was not a tyrant, but a king who created a united India. History cannot be erased by making a film,” said Imran Masood, a Congress MP from Uttar Pradesh, while speaking to a news channel. Masood was speaking after supporting Abu Azmi’s statement about Aurangzeb.

Imran Masood said that people should receive correct information. Aurangzeb was the emperor of this country for 49 years. How could he be a tyrant ? What was the GDP (gross domestic product) in his State ? Who won the Kailash Mansarovar ? Who created an undivided India extending to Afghanistan, Burma etc. ? All this happened during Aurangzeb’s rule. Where will the BJP, full of hatred, take this country ? The politics of hatred will harm the country. 25 crore people cannot be sidelined.
