Stalin said the Union Government under the guise of promoting regional languages was trying to impose the three-language formula in the country. Actually, it was a conspiracy to impose the Hindi language on the non-Hindi speaking states. I congratulate Punjab and Telangana for making the state language compulsory. Both these states have exposed the lies of the Union Government. When it claims that the new three language policy is to promote and spread knowledge of the regional languages.
Editorial PerspectiveIt is a blot on Democracy that the nation has a Chief Minister who under the guise of politics is using language as basis to divide the people. The Union Government should take action against such activity, in the interest of nationalism. |
