Karnataka Congress leaders criticise its own Dy CM for attending Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev’s programme

Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev and Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar

Bengaluru – Karnataka State Congress committee president and deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar recently attended a programme organised by ‘Isha Foundation’ of Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev. He posted a few photos of the programme on ‘X’ which resulted in all-India Congress committee secretary P V Mohan criticising him. Responding to Shivakumar’s post, Mohan has stated that Shivkumar is a leader of a secular party. How can he thank a person (Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev) who had ridiculed Rahul Gandhi ?

In his post on ‘X’, D K Shivakumar has thanked Sadguru for inviting him to Isha Yoga Centre at Coimbatore on the occasion of Mahashivaratri and has narrated his experience, besides publishing a photo of the invitation received by him. D K Shivakumar shared the dais with the Central Home Minister Amit Shah.

P V Mohan has posted that Jaggi Vasudev and Isha Foundation are like BJP and RSS. (Weird invention of Congress ! – Editor) We are totally against their ideology. Rahul Gandhi has also said many times that anyone who followed RSS ideology may leave the party. There is no problem with Shivkumar going there, but his action should reflect the values of his party.

Editorial Perspective

Would leaders from Congress party criticise D K Shivakumar had he visited a mosque or some programme organised by a Muslim fanatic organisation ? It shows that for Congress, secularism means Hindu-hatred.
