Hindus worshipped the Shivalinga in ‘Ladle Mashak Dargah’ on Mahashivaratra

Hindu’s path cleared after Karnataka High Court’s permission

Bengaluru (Karnataka) – The Karnataka High Court allowed Hindus to worship the Raghav Chaitanya Shivalinga located in the ‘Ladle Mashak Dargah Sankula’ in Aland on the occasion of Mahashivaratra. After that, Hindus offered worship. Hindu organisations had filed a petition in this regard. With this decision, the previous order of the Karnataka Tribunal, allowing religious rituals at this place, has been upheld.

According to the order, Muslims were allowed to perform rituals from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. Hindu devotees worshipped the Raghav Chaitanya Shivalinga existing on the premises from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The High Court allowed only 15 people to enter the dargah to worship. This year, the district administration had imposed a curfew here.

This dargah is associated with the 14th-century Sufi saint and the 15th-century Hindu saint Raghav Chaitanya. In the year 2022, there was a dispute over the religious rights of the dargah.
