Clashes between Christians in churches

Davangere (Karnataka) – A fight broke out between Christians in a church in Harihar in Davangere district of Karnataka. People expressed anger after the church priest did not give an account of finances. Some Christians in the church had demanded an account of the work being done by the church. The church priest K.J. George refused to give an account. (If there is such a dispute between devotees in a Hindu temple, the Government takes control of the temple; but it is not heard that the Government took control of the church even after major financial scams took place. When will Hindus ask the Government to answer for this discrimination ? – Editor) Therefore, the Christians started an argument and a fight inside the church premises. The Christians surrounded Bishop (senior priest) Francis, alleging that the priest did not give an account despite repeated requests.
