Pakistan Government to spend Pak Rs 100 crore for renovation of Temples and Gurudwaras

Islamabad (Pakistan) – Pakistan Government has begun a scheme for renovation and beautification of the Temples and Gurudwaras in the country. For this Pakistan has decided to spend Pak Rs 100 crore. This decision was taken at the ‘Evacuee Trust Property Board’ under the Chairmanship of Syed Ata Ur Rehman. Rehman said under this scheme special attention will be given to the prayer centres of the minorities and large amount of money will be spent for this. The board has received this year more than 100 crore Pakistani Rupees for this scheme.

Editorial Perspective

This clearly shows that through this, they want to show the International Community that they are doing something for their minorities. But what about the fact even today numerous temples are being demolished in Pakistan ? If Pakistan really wants to do something for its minorities, then it should first stop the atrocities against the Hindus.
