Passengers robbed by ‘Kadamba’ on the journey from Madgaon to Kolhapur via Belagavi

Passengers robbed by giving 2 tickets, namely Madgaon-Belagavi and Belagavi-Kolhapur, without giving a direct ticket !

Passengers’ issued 2 tickets separately

Kolhapur, Maharashtra – Buses of ‘Kadamba’ (Kadamba Transport Corporation Ltd., Goa) of the state of Goa run on the route from Madgaon (Goa) to Kolhapur via Belagavi. There is a fault in the system for issuing tickets to passengers travelling in one of the buses on this route on February 16, and citing other reasons, the conductor in the bus gave two different tickets, namely Madgaon-Belagavi and Belagavi-Kolhapur, instead of giving a direct ticket from Madgaon to Kolhapur. Due to this, the passengers had to bear extra Rs 28. This has been going on since February 5 and there has been no improvement in this system yet.

On the one hand, the Prime Minister is trying for ‘Digital India’, and on the other hand, if a state government establishment that manages passenger transport cannot correct a simple error, then it must be said that we are still stuck in the old mindset. However, the passengers are being hit by the ‘Kadamba’ error and they are having to face financial hardship every time. However, the passengers are demanding that this error be fixed as soon as possible.

This is how passengers are being hit financially !

The fare for a passenger going from Madgaon to Kolhapur via Belagavi is Rs 289; but citing an alleged technical fault, Rs 165 is being charged from Madgaon to Belagavi, while Rs 152 is being charged from Belagavi to Kolhapur. This means that instead of Rs 289, passengers are being forced to pay Rs 317, that is, an additional fare of Rs 28.
