
Chennai – Indian intelligence agencies recently arrested a Pakistani terrorist named Mohammad Zakriya at the Chennai International Airport. He was trying to go to Sri Lanka. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) took him into custody for questioning. Zakriya was associated with a Pakistani Islamic terrorist organisation called ‘Khalifa’.

1. Mohammad Zakriya is said to have been living in India for the last 25 years. He was engaged in terrorist activities under the pretext of a hotel or business.
2. The ‘NIA’ seized materials related to ‘Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan’ from him. Mohammad Zakriya is the Indian head of the Khalifa organisation. He was handling the activities of the ‘Khalifa’ in India. He was coordinating sleeper cells (those who aid terrorists) in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
3. According to intelligence information, Zakriya was trying to go to Pakistan via Sri Lanka to participate in the election of a new leader after the death of his group leader.
4. Zakriya has 2 wives and 10 children in India. He worked to connect people with the Caliphate involved in religious conversion activities. He succeeded in converting many people.
