Ayodhya camp’s chief priest Jagadguru Paramhans Maharaj warns Maharashtra Govt against Aurangzeb tomb

If the Government does not demolish Aurangzeb’s tomb, we will destroy it just as we destroyed the Babri structure : Paramhans Maharaj

Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh): Jagadguru Paramhans Maharaj, the chief priest of the Ayodhya camp, has issued a warning to the Maharashtra Government, stating that Aurangzeb’s tomb should be removed. He declared that if the Government failed to act, the tomb would be demolished in the same manner as the Babri structure was brought down.

Speaking to a news agency, Paramhans Maharaj said, “Aurangzeb’s tomb is the greatest blemish on Maharashtra. A demand has already been made to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to remove this tomb. If the Government assures us that it will remove the tomb, we will accept it. Otherwise, we will lead a march to remove it ourselves. Crores of Saints have gathered in Prayagraj for the Maha Kumbha Mela. Once the Maha Kumbha concludes, the Saint community will march towards Maharashtra. For this, we plan to discuss with all the Hindu organisations.”

He added, “We had appealed to people during the Maharashtra Assembly elections to ensure the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance forms the Government. Devout Sanatanis in Maharashtra worked to form the BJP Government here. Therefore, it is necessary to remove Aurangzeb’s tomb from this land.”
