Mumbai – Thane Police have filed a complaint against the ‘Garib Nawaz Moinuddin Chishti Committee’. The committee had deliberately omitted Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and Aksai Chin from the Indian map on a poster put up in the city. Both these regions are an integral part of India. This incident took place on Sunday, January 5th. In this case, the members of the committee have deliberately insulted India. They have made provocative action towards the division of India. This will pose a threat to unity, the complaint states.

1. The poster called Nawaz Moinuddin Chishti the ‘King of Hindustan’. It has a picture of a mosque and the Indian national flag on it.

2. The Committee had put up this poster on the occasion of the Urus (Muslim festival) of ‘Sarkar Garib Nawaz’ and ‘Sarkar Mulan Wale Baba’.

Editorial Perspective

Strict action should be taken immediately against those who deliberately insult India in this manner. In fact, such anti-India committee should be banned.
