2 Hindus killed, one kidnapped
Dhaka (Bangladesh) – Atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh are increasing day by day instead of reducing. In the last 5 days, 6 temples have been targeted by fanatic Muslims. Of these, 4 were attacked in Hatzari in Chittagong, and one each in Cox’s Bazar and Lal Monirhat. In other incidents, 2 Hindus have been killed and one kidnapped. Among the dead, retired college teacher Dilip Kumar Roy (age 71) was murdered in his house. In Jalkhathi District, 26-year-old businessman Sudev Halder was murdered by slitting his throat. The Police have not been able to arrest any of the accused in these incidents.

1. Gold ornaments and donation boxes were looted from the Maa Vishweshwari Kali Temple in Chittagong. Along with this, incidents of theft also occurred at Satyanarayan Seva Ashram, Maa Magadheswari Temple and Jagabandhu Ashram. Incidents of theft have also occurred at the Shri Mandir in Cox’s Bazar. The thieves destroyed the CCTV recordings here.
2. Hindu Sarpanch Chandan Mahajan of Chittagong was forced to resign by religious fanatics. Also, a Hindu woman’s house was set on fire in Gaybanda District. In Dhalgram Union, two Hindu houses were robbed.
Bangladesh Government is fanatic : Bangladesh Hindu-Buddhist-Christian Unity Council
Manindra Kumar Nath, acting general secretary of the ‘Bangladesh Hindu-Buddhist-Christian Unity Council’, said that the current interim Government is fanatical. We are facing violence without committing any violent act. The Government’s indifference in this regard is forcing us to think anew.
