56,000 Tap Connections Installed in the Kumbha Area for Drinking Water

Prayagraj, January 11 – Ensuring the availability of drinking water for the numerous akhadas, thousands of shops, and millions of tents in the Kumbha area was a significant challenge for the administration. To address this, the Prayagraj Development Authority has installed 56,000 tap connections across the Kumbha area.

All these tap connections are temporary, and the administration has laid a total of 1,249 kilometers of pipes for this purpose. Additionally, 85 borewells have been constructed outside akhadas and at busy locations to provide drinking water. These facilities have ensured that devotees have access to drinking water after consuming breakfast, lunch, or dinner at food stalls.
