Death Drones to Strengthen Security in Maha Kumbha Area

Prayagraj, January 9 – To enhance security measures at the Maha Kumbh venue, the police administration has decided to deploy advanced “Death Drones.” A trial flight of these drones was conducted on January 9 at the Triveni Sangam. According to officials, five such drones will be operational to monitor the area, with each capable of covering a radius of 6 kilometers.

Twenty days ago, an Anti-Drone System was also activated in the region to intercept unauthorized drones. So far, two drones have been brought down using this system.

What is the Death Drone System ?

The “Death Drone” technology will monitor activities within a 6-kilometer radius. These drones are equipped to record the facial data of every individual in their range and relay this information to the police system. Integrated with CCTV cameras across various sectors, the drones can detect suspicious activities and track individuals engaging in potential wrongdoing anywhere in the Maha Kumbha area.

Using Artificial Intelligence (AI), the system will also calculate the total number of visitors entering the venue. This modern surveillance approach aims to ensure maximum safety for the millions attending the event.
