Prayagraj – During his visit to Prayagraj for the Maha Kumbha, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed the final preparations for the grand event on 9thJanuary. He received a comprehensive briefing from administrative officials on the progress of the preparations and inspected the readiness of the Sangam area by boat. Following this, he visited 13 Akhadas, offered prayers to their presiding Deities, and interacted with the Saints. At Juna Akhada, he discussed the Maha Kumbha preparations with its head, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avdheshanand Giri Maharaj. The Chief Minister also performed puja of the Nath Sect’s Simhasan in the Mahasabha.

Yogi Adityanath visited the Juna, Niranjani, Bada Udasin, Nirmal, and three Vaishnav Akhadas (Nirmohi, Digambar, Nirvani), as well as the Agni, Avahan, Atal, and Anand Akhadas. He extended invitations to the Saints for a communal meal. Accordingly, he partook the Mahaprasad with the Saints at night. Prior to Mahaprasad, the Chief Minister felicitated the Saints by presenting them shawls and expressed his gratitude. Later, he inaugurated the Media Centre.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducts aerial survey of Triveni Sangam and the Kumbha Kshetra

The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, is on a two-day visit to Prayagraj to oversee preparations and inaugurate developments done related to the Maha Kumbha. On 9thJanuary, he conducted an aerial survey of Triveni Sangam and its surrounding areas via helicopter. Senior Police officials were present at the Sangam area during his inspection.
