Tel Aviv (Israel) – After Ireland officially recognized Palestine as an independent State, Israel has announced the closure of its embassy in Ireland. In May, Israel had already recalled its ambassador from Ireland. Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar accused Ireland of hypocrisy and pursuing anti-Israel policies. Ireland has also supported the genocide case filed against Israel in the International Court of Justice by South Africa, a move opposed by Israel.
