New Delhi – Following Sheikh Hasina’s departure, atrocities against minority Hindus in Bangladesh continue unabated. Simultaneously, the Bangladeshi Government is fostering closer ties with India’s adversary, Pakistan, and actively procuring weapons. Reports suggest that, with Pakistan’s support, Bangladesh is planning to promote Jihadi terrorism in India.Sajid Tarar, a Pakistani-American industrialist and an expert on Pakistani affairs, has advised India to remain vigilant. He revealed that slogans inciting Jihad are being raised near the India-Bangladesh border, a development of grave concern for India. Additionally, Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Advisor of Bangladesh’s Interim Government, has not only requested 25,000 tons of sugar from Pakistan but has also placed substantial orders for arms and ammunition.

Key details shared by Sajid Tarar,
1. India must be fully prepared and take strict action against terrorist activities, as Jihadi slogans are being raised on both sides of its borders – Pakistan and Bangladesh.
2. Bangladesh has requested the supply of 40 tons of RDX, 28,000 high-intensity rockets, 2,000 tank shells, and 40,000 artillery shells from Pakistan.
3. Muhammad Yunus has relaxed visa regulations for Pakistani nationals entering Bangladesh. Earlier, Pakistani individuals had to apply for a “No Objection” certificate to obtain a visa, but this requirement has now been lifted. This change allows Islamic terrorists to enter Bangladesh easily and subsequently infiltrate India.
4. Certain individuals in India are deeply disturbed, recalling past incidents. They believe that during the rule of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) from 1991–1996 and again from 2001–2005, terrorists from groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba, such as Masood Azhar and Sajjad Afghani, infiltrated India through the Bangladesh border and attacked Mumbai. Terrorists David Headley and Tahawwur Rana, both of whom were US nationals, also had close ties with Bangladesh. Headley and Rana collected information for the Mumbai attacks.
5. Under the Jihad called by Bangladesh, some individuals in India may begin supporting Bangladesh’s efforts to push for Kashmir’s independence. All these developments are orchestrated by Pakistan’s intelligence agency, the ISI.
