Sanatan Sanstha stood steadfast against the tides of time. Twenty-five years ago, even uttering the term Sanatan was difficult, yet the organisation began its extensive work in serving Dharma. A Nation is defined by its land, traditions, and the society that upholds those traditions. This has to be proven and Sanatan has done it. Looking at Sanatan’s growing influence, it is evident that this mission will not cease but will continue to grow, eventually achieving the goal of establishing a ‘Hindu Rashtra’.
Earlier, the term Sanatan was rarely heard of. Today, even the capital, Delhi, resounds with demands to establish a Sanatan Board. This journey from Goa, where Sanatan Sanstha originated, to Delhi highlights the power of the term ‘Sanatan’. Over the past 25 years, the organisation has faced numerous challenges and adversities. Yet, the results of Sanatan’s dedicated efforts are visible today. Words fall short in praising Sanatan Sanstha, and the time has come for the goal of a ‘Hindu Rashtra’ envisioned by Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Jayant Athavale to be realised.
No matter how noble the thoughts, they are meaningless without Shakti (Requisite strength to realise those thoughts). Without strength, a decline is inevitable. Sanatan Sanstha’s greatest achievement is not just spreading Dharma but also building a society capable of defending it. Goa’s image as a land of indulgence has been transformed into the land of Bhagawan Parashuram through the combined efforts of Sanatan Sanstha, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant, and his Government.
Goa Government committed to protecting Deva, Desha and Dharma !
Goa Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant said – When Deva (God) is valued, Dharma thrives, and when Dharma thrives, the Desha (Nation) awakens. The Goa Government is dedicated to protecting Deva, Desha and Dharma. It is due to Rashtrasants (National Saints) like H.H. Swami Govinddev Giri Maharaj, that the mission of protecting the three is underway across the Nation. Goa’s identity as Parashuram Bhoomi has been reinstated with the installation of a grand statue of Bhagawan Parashuram on the banks of the Mandovi River. The history of Hindu temples destroyed during the Portuguese rule is being documented at the Government level through a research committee. A monument will be built to raise awareness of these lost temples.
On Sanatan Sanstha, Dr Pramod Sawant said :
Despite facing challenges, Sanatan Sanstha has made significant contributions nationwide. It plays a pivotal role in protecting Hindu Dharma from its Ashram in Ramnathi (Goa). Its publication, Sanatan Prabhat, continues to inform people about the challenges faced by Hindus globally and the positive contributions of the Hindu community to foster a greater awareness of Hindutva. It strives to awaken the unaware as well as the indifferent.
It is evident that Sanatan’s mission will not cease but grow, eventually achieving the goal of establishing a ‘Hindu Rashtra’ ! |
