Haasan (Karnataka) – Yes, we are on the side of the minorities and there is nothing to hide about it, said Karnataka Home Minister Parameshwara in a Congress meeting. In this meeting Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar and many leaders participated.
Home Minister Parameshwara said that land worth thousands of crores of rupees for Waqf was notified during BJP’s tenure; but now the Congress is accused of grabbing the land of the farmers. Minorities too are born, raised and die in this country. They also have a right to this country. In such a situation it is our primary duty to benefit them. (What else would you expect from Congressmen who say ‘Muslims have the first right over India’s resources’? – Editor)
“Yes, we (Congress members) are indeed on the side of the minorities!” – Karnataka Home Minister Parameshwara
