New Delhi – Dattatreya Hosabale, RSS general secretary, reacted to Bangladesh situation saying, “Union Government must make efforts in every possible way to prevent atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh. The Union Government should create a global opinion and make efforts to stop atrocities on Bangladeshi Hindus. At the same time the Union Government should take support of influential global organisations. At this crucial time, India, Global community and organisations must support Bangladeshi victims. It is extremely important for global peace and brotherhood. Imprisonment of Chinmoy Prabhu who was leading Hindus in a peaceful protest, is injustice, and he must be released immediately.”

The General Secretary added,

“Incidents, like, attacks on Hindus, women and other minorities by Islamic fanatics, killing, looting and arson as well as inhuman atrocities are extremely worrying. RSS condemns all this.”

“The Interim Government in Bangladesh and other organisations are just bystanders, doing nothing to stop violence. A new wave of injustice and atrocities in Bangladesh is surging to supress Hindus’ voice, raised by them in a democratic way for self-defence.”
