Govt orders investigation
Dhaka (Bangladesh) – Since the arrest of ISKCON member Chinmoy Krishnadas Prabhu, Hindus have continued protest. Religious fanatics are attacking them. During such an attack a lawyer Saiful Islam Arif got killed. The reason behind the murder is not clear yet. The Bar Association had suspended court proceedings on 27th November.
The Chief Advisor of Bangladesh Government Mohamed Yunus has condemned the killing and directed inquiry and action. He has appealed to the people to remain calm and avoid participation in untoward activity. He has ordered the law enforcement agencies to beef up security in the city.
Advocates Association accuse Hindus of murder
The president of Chittagong Advocates Association, Nazeemuddin Chaudhary made an accusation against Hindus protestors, that they caught Saiful in a room and killed him.
