10 People Arrested in Raigarh (Chhattisgarh) in connection with Hindus’ conversion

Raigarh (Chhattisgarh) – In Raigad, 10 people have been arrested for their involvement in conversion activities, and the investigation is going on. There was a gathering at Saul Naga’s residence near Kashiram Chowk in the Jute Mill area under the guise of a prayer meeting that was attended by over 100 people.

Upon receiving information, members of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal arrived at the scene and raised objections. Police intervened and arrested Saul and Indrajeet Khare. Bajrang Dal claims that poor people are being enticed and converted. According to local villagers, prayer meetings are organised there four days a week, attracting people from distant areas.

Editorial Perspective

The lack of a stringent anti-conversion law in the country has led to such incidents ! There is a need for establishing ‘Hindu Rashtra’ to prevent conversions in this country.
