An IAS officer in Kerala suspended for creating WhatsApp group called, ‘Mallu (Malayalam) Hindu Officers’

The anti- Hindu Communist Front Government has taken this action only because of Hindu hatred

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) – The Communist Party of India (M) Government has suspended Kerala Industry and Commerce Director K Gopalkrishnan, a 2013-batch officer, for creating a ‘Mallu Hindu Officer’ WhatsApp group and added other officers to it. Prasanth, a 2007-batch officer, caused a stir over the last three days after taking to social media and making multiple posts against another IAS officer, Additional Chief Secretary A Jayathilak. The suspension order issued by the government says, creating a WhatsApp group based on religion may lead to rift among the officers in the IAS cadre and create a divisive wall among them. It also looks like an attempt to separate officers based on religion.

Gopalakrishnan came from 2013 batch of the cadre and N. Prashant came from 2017 batch.

A day before this action, the Revenue Minister K Rajan had said that officers would not be allowed to behave the way they pleased. They must subject themselves to the rules and procedures.

About the group

On 30th October a WhatsApp group ‘Mallu Hindu Officer’ was created. This group included Hindu IAS officers’ names. When several other officers objected to the group, it was deleted within a few hours. Next day itself Gopalakrishnan lodged a complaint with the Police that his mobile had been hacked. He said that the ‘Mallu Hindu Officer’ and Mallu Muslim Officer’ were the groups created on his mobile by the hackers.

The Police said that there was no evidence that the mobile was hacked.
