In this context, Peel Police spokesperson Richard Chin stated that footage related to the violence outside the temple is being circulated on social media. Harinder Sohi is seen participating in the demonstrations. The investigations are going on in this matter. So far, three individuals have been charged in connection with the attack on Indian diplomats outside the Hindu temple.
Police Chief Nishan Duraiappah mentioned that they had prior knowledge of the attack. (If they had prior knowledge, why weren’t efforts made to prevent the attack ? – Editor). He emphasised that everyone has the right to express their views, but any form of violence or criminal activity will not be tolerated. Those involved in the violence will be arrested and punished.
The Police have identified three suspects related to this attack: Dilpreet Singh Bounds from Mississauga, Vikas from Brampton, and Amritpal Singh. Another individual was arrested on an old warrant and later released.

He said, “Prime Minister Modi has also expressed concern over the issue. Spying on Indian diplomats in Canada will not be tolerated. Canada has developed a habit of making baseless accusations without any evidence.”
Editorial PerspectiveThe fact that supporters of Khalistan are present in the Canadian Police force, and they allow Khalistanis to act freely against Hindus rather than taking action against them, has become evident through this incident. |
