In a letter to the Mayor of London, the US based group asked to break ties with VHP, Chinmay Mission etc. as they work for Hindutva
London (Britain) – A US based group called ‘Hindus for Human Rights’ has tried to create controversy over the celebration of Diwali in London, the capital of England. Rajeev Sinha, the director of this organization, wrote a letter to the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, asking to break all the ties with Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), BAPS (Bochasanvasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha), Chinmay Mission etc. These organizations had organized a Diwali programme at London’s Trafalgar Square on October 27. Reportedly, this has angered the group ‘Hindus for Human Rights’.
🚨 Hindus for Human Rights, a US-based organization, has urged the Mayor of London to sever ties with groups like VHP and Chinmaya Mission, citing their involvement in the Hindutva movement in Britain.

The concerned letter has been shared on ‘X’ by Suhag Shukla, a devout Hindu woman. In this letter, the organization claimed that Hindu organizations like VHP, Chinmay Mission etc. are working for the Hindutva movement in India and Britain.
Editorial PerspectiveThis is an attempt by this US organization to divide Hindus by using ‘Hindu’ word in their group’s name. It has to be investigated if anti-India US Government is behind this organization. |
