Hindu girl attempts suicide due to sexual harassment by Muslim youth

Accused threatened the victim – “I will cut you into 24 pieces !”

Suratkal (Karnataka) – A Hindu girl attempted suicide following alleged sexual harassment and threats by a Muslim youth in the area. The accused reportedly told her, “Cooperate with me, or I’ll cut you into 24 pieces.” Police have begun an investigation after taking the accused into custody.

The accused, Sharik, a resident of Sadashivnagar, harassed the victim, hacked her Facebook account, and sent her obscene messages. He also threatened her brother via WhatsApp. Overwhelmed by this ongoing harassment, the girl attempted suicide by ingesting sleeping pills. In her note, she mentioned being tortured by Sharik and Noorjan, stating, “I choose death over being tortured and killed by these Muslims.”
