
Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) – During the Navaratri festival, the Ramleela held in Ayodhya was broadcast live not only on Doordarshan but also on various online platforms. Over the span of 3 days, 41 crore people from across the world watched this Ramleela. It was streamed in 26 languages across 40 countries. Notably, film actors and actresses participated in this Ramleela.
Subhash Malik, Chairman of the Ramleela Committee, shared that this Ramleela featuring film actors started in Ayodhya in 2020. The number of online viewers has been increasing each year. Last year, 40 crore people watched it, while this year, 41 crore people from both India and abroad viewed it. So far, 22 crore people watched it on Doordarshan, 17 crore on YouTube, and 2 crore on other platforms.

The director of the Ramleela, Shubham Malik, mentioned that it was broadcast live in 26 languages. Countries like the USA, Australia, Thailand, Trinidad, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Fiji, Russia, South Korea, and 40 others streamed it. It was available in languages such as Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, Punjabi, and Gujarati.

Actors like Bindu Dara Singh, Manish Paul, Avatar Gill, Raza Murad, Rakesh Bedi, Ved Sagar, Animesh Midha, Vinay Singh, and actresses such as Bhagyashree, Sheeba, Ritu Shivpuri, Amita Nangia, Madonna, Payal Goga Kapoor, and Malini Awasthi played roles in this Ramleela.
