Mumbai – The office of Devendra Fadnavis, the State Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister, was vandalised by a woman named Dhanashree Sahastrabuddhe. The woman entered ‘Mantralaya’ through the entrance designated for secretaries, without obtaining a pass. She caused damage and left the premises. A video of the incident has become viral. She even removed and threw away the nameplate of Fadnavis. The Police were able to identify the woman 18 hours after the incident. It is being said that her mental condition is not stable.

In response, Devendra Fadnavis said, “The incident of vandalism in the office occurred on 26th September 2024. I will try to know the reasons for her doing such a thing; whether she did it out of frustration or if there is a grievance that led to do such a thing.”
