Tom Suozzi further added,

1. Hatred has long been a part of human history, but the rise in hate crimes is alarming. Recently, hooligans vandalized the Shri Swaminarayan Temple, driven by bigotry against the Hindu community.
2. By saying ‘Namaste,’ Hindus join their hands, demonstrating respect for those they greet. We should all strive to treat one another with greater respect.
3. Why are acts of bigotry and hatred so prevalent today ? Are they a result of excesses or a lack of responsibility ? To address this issue, we must recognize that the solution lies not in hatred, but in love and understanding.
