Trudeau Government in minority

Khalistan supporter Jagmeet Singh and PM Trudeau

Ottawa (Canada) – Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s Government has suffered a major blow. Jagmeet Singh, leader of the pro-Khalistan New Democratic Party (NDP), has announced the withdrawal of Government support. Jagmeet Singh has withdrawn his support by making many accusations against Trudeau. Trudeau’s Government was running with the support of the NDP. Due to this, the Trudeau Government is now in a minority. Now they have to find other parties for a confidence vote. Jagmeet Singh has declared himself in the race for the post of Prime Minister for the next elections.

Jagmeet Singh accused Prime Minister Trudeau of not being able to face the Conservative Party. The current Government is weak, selfish and dedicated to business interests. Trudeau has surrendered to industrialists. Now they don’t deserve to be given a second chance.

Trudeau’s options

With Jagmeet Singh withdrawing his support, Trudeau now has the option of stepping down and calling an early election. Trudeau will need to forge a new coalition to pass the budget and avoid a parliamentary confidence vote. Justin Trudeau has been in power since 2015.
