Malaysian Prime Minister Dato Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim in New Delhi

Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) – Malaysian Prime Minister Dato Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim is presently in New Delhi on a three-day visit to India. It is his first visit to India as a Prime Minister. It is being said that Anwar Ibrahim’s visit would strengthen the bilateral ties. While the social media is buzzing with information about his Hindu phobia.

Anwar Ibrahim began his political journey when he was a student. In 1971 Ibrahim founded the Muslim Youth Movement in Malaysia.

In August 2023, Anwar Ibrahim’s name came in the matter of conversion of a Hindu youth to Islam. After the Friday namaz in a mosque in Klang (Selangor), Anwar Ibrahim claimed that a Hindu youth had accepted Islam. He was criticised for this not only in Malaysia but also in many countries including India.

Zakir Naik, the mentor and icon of Jihadi terrorists, had fled India. He had found refuge in Malysia since 2017. Zakir has been seen with Prime Minister on many occasions. There are many Court cases about serious crimes pending against Zakir in India and he has been declared ‘wanted’ by India. India has not been successful in its numerous attempts for the repatriation of Zakir Naik. The Malaysian Government is protecting him.
