Hindu girl from Bangladesh writes to PM Modi

Dhaka (Bangladesh) – Even after Sheikh Hasina has resigned as Prime Minister and left the country, violence continues in Bangladesh. Hindus are being targeted in this violence. People are breaking into their houses to loot and vandalise their properties. In this context a Hindu girl’s letter has gone viral. She has requested help from India. It has got circulated on ‘Sputnik India’ news website.

The letter says –

1.Hindus are being targeted and attacked. Particularly Hindu women and girls are the targets, and they are also being raped.

2.Lakhs of rupees are looted from the shops of Hindus. To protect Hindus’ lives and property miscreants are demanding lakhs of rupees. Hindus are being threatened to leave the country or be prepared for serious consequences.

3.I want to request the Indian Government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi that they should help us as soon as possible. We want to live peacefully in our country.

4.I am aware that Government of India is concerned about us and perhaps they are already trying to extend help, but delay will result in unimaginable damage.

Editorial Perspective

At least now Indian Government should take a note of Bangladeshi Hindus’ plight and help them.
