Hindus are being massacred in Bangladesh : Suvendu Adhikari

A serious allegation by Bengal’s opposition leader

BJP MLA in Bengal Suvendu Adhikari said one crore Hindu refugees will come to Bengal in a few days.

Kolkata (Bengal) – In the wake of the ongoing violence in Bangladesh, Suvendu Adhikari, the Leader of Opposition in the Bengal Legislative Assembly and a BJP MLA, said in the Assembly that one crore Hindu refugees will come to Bengal in a few days. (There are more than 1 crore 31 lakh Hindus currently living in Bangladesh). So, the Government should be prepared. Hindus are being massacred in Bangladesh. A corporator named Haradhan Nayak was murdered in Rangpur. 13 Policemen were killed in Sirajganj Police station. 9 of them were Hindus. Hindu houses were burnt in Noakhali. I will ask the Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and the Governor to speak to the Government of India on this matter as soon as possible.

Bangladesh will fall into the hands of Jamaat-e-Islami and fundamentalists

Referring to the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), Suvendu Adhikari said that it is clear in the CAA that if someone is persecuted based on religious affiliation, our country will come forward and look into such cases. I tell you that if this situation is not brought under control within 3 days, Bangladesh will fall into the hands of Jamaat-e-Islami and fundamentalists.

Editorial Perspective

Hindus have been massacred in Bangladesh for the last 53 years, due to which they have been reduced from 28% in 1947 to only 9% in 2024. Due to India’s inaction, the remaining Hindus too will be destroyed in a few years.
