Kulgam (Jammu-Kashmir) – 6 terrorists eliminated in two anti-terrorism operations, with 2 soldiers martyred in the line of duty. On July 6 afternoon, 4 terrorists neutralised in Modargam encounter; later in the evening, 2 terrorists eliminated in Frisal confront.

2 Soldiers received martyrdom

In the initial encounter, 24-year-old soldier Praveen Janjal from Akola District, Maharashtra, made the ultimate sacrifice. The incident occurred during an ongoing search operation.

Editorial Perspective

It should be noted that unless Pakistan, the producer of terrorists, is destroyed, terrorism in Kashmir will not end. It is high time the root cause of terrorism is addressed.
