BJP MLA and Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari alleged that the webcasting cameras installed at many polling stations in the state are faulty. These include 141 cameras in Diamond Harbour, 131 in Mathurapur, 90 in Joynagar and 60 in Jadavpur.
On the other hand, Trinamool Congress leader and Mamata Banerjee’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee said that democracy was strangled in Varanasi. There the applications of the candidates were rejected. Those who filled the nomination form were not even allowed to enter the office by the Election Commission. This happened for 4-5 consecutive days. If you (BJP) know that people support you, why are you afraid ?
