Indian Government issues guidelines for Indians migrating to Cambodia for jobs
New Delhi – The Indian Embassy in Cambodia has issued guidelines for Indians migrating to Cambodia for work. The notices have been issued as several cases of fraud in connection with jobs have come to light. The notice says that only those agents who are approved by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), should be trusted.
The Indian Embassy in Cambodia said that people looking for jobs can also contact us in this regard. There have been several cases of Indian nationals being duped in the name of jobs abroad. In Thailand too, Indian nationals are being lured with job offers. Some ‘Digital sales and Marketing’ companies are cheating the Indian citizens in the name of providing jobs. Many companies in Thailand and Laos are involved in fraud cases. Indian citizens are being trapped into corruption and cyber-crimes in the name of employment.
