Ranchi (Jharkhand) – Rural development Minister of Jharkhand and Senior Congress Leader Aalamgir has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The ED arrested him after questioning for more than 10 hours. Aalamgir’s private secretary Sanjeev Lal and his servant Jahangir Alam have already been arrested. ED had seized cash worth Rs 35 crore and some jewellery from Jahangir Alam’s house. He was then called for investigation. Aalamgir is accused of receiving money as brokerage against issuing tenders for road construction in rural areas.
