Srinagar – An encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in the Redwani area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam District. 2 terrorists have been killed in this encounter. The Police informed that the search operation of the security forces is still going on.
On the late night of 6th May, security forces reached the spot after receiving information that terrorists were hiding in the Redwani area of Kulgam. An encounter started between the security forces and the terrorists soon after. The skirmish resumed on the morning of 7th May. Security forces have cordoned off the entire area.
Two days ago, terrorists attacked a vehicle of the security forces at Surankot in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch District. 1 soldier was martyred in this attack.
