Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir belongs to India; Indians were made to forget it

MEA Dr S Jaishankar’s criticism without naming Congress

Cuttack (Odisha) – “Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir is an integral part of India. It was never outside India but people were made to forget this,” asserted India’s Minister of External Affairs Dr S Jaishankar. When he was asked the question about the Indian Government’s plan for the future concerning PoK, he gave the above answer.

Dr S Jaishankar further stated,

1. There is a resolution of the Indian Parliament that PoK is very much a part of India.

2. When you have someone who is not a responsible custodian of a house, someone steals from outside. It was because India did not pursue the eviction of Pakistan from these territories in the early years of our Independence that is why this very sorry state of affairs is continuing.

3. Kashmir was a problem because until Article 370 was in effect, separatism and terrorism had flourished in Jammu and Kashmir. This also encouraged violence there.

On 5th May, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that India does not need to occupy Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. He also said that the people there themselves wanted to become a part of India. After that, now the external affairs minister has made the above statement.

Editorial Perspective

In the upcoming elections, Indians will certainly make Congress repent for the betrayal over all these years.
