14 students suffer food poisoning in a school in Bareilly (UP)

Allegedly, the cook did not take care of hygiene despite being reminded several times

Bareilly (UP) – The condition of 14 school children deteriorated after eating the porridge served at a school located in Bithri Chainpur. The sick children were immediately admitted to a local health centre. The Doctors detected food poisoning. The Children who fell ill said that for many days spoilt food was being served to them.

On 1st May, the evening meal given to the children consisted half-cooked roti and rice. On the morning of 2nd May, the porridge served had turned bad. The children fell ill after eating it. In this connection, Anita, the warden, said that the cook was not taking care of hygiene despite being told multiple times.
