China deploys 3 Spy Ships in the Indian Ocean

New Delhi – After creating pressure on the countries in the South China Sea, China has now deployed at least 3 Chinese survey and surveillance ships in the Indian Ocean. Till 2025, China wants to patrol the Indian Ocean. Recently Indian Navy deployed 11 submarines and 35 warships in the Indian Ocean. Along with this, in the Arabian Sea Indian Navy is active and they have saved many ships from pirate attacks. US experts show concern over China’s growing activities in the Indian Ocean.

Locations of Chinese Ships

According to the English News daily, ‘Hindustan Times’, the first Chinese Ship ‘Jiang Yang Hong 01’, is on the International Border 500 miles west of the Bay of Bengal. This Spy Ship has been docked here since 8th March. The job of this Chinese Spy Ship is to test submarines operating 12 Km underwater. This will enable China to draw a map of the seabed.

The second Chinese Intelligence Ship ‘Jiang Yang Hong 03’ is docked at Maldives. It is conducting Marine observation and hydrographic surveys covering 350 miles from there. This ship was sent to the Indian Ocean three months ago. Indian Navy is monitoring this ship.

China has deployed a third Intelligence Vessel, ‘Da Yang Hao’,1,200 miles south of Port Louis in Mauritius. Along with this Anti-Pirates Squad is active in the Gulf of Aden, however till today, there is no report of China stopping any pirates. This situation has compelled India to be alert and monitor these Chinese Vessels.
