Influenced by the greatness of Hinduism, Anwar Sheikh renounces Islam

Khandwa (Madhya Pradesh) – Influenced by the grandeur and depth of Hinduism, Anwar Sheikh renounced Islam and embraced Sanatan Dharma. A resident of Khandwa in Madhya Pradesh, Anwar Sheikh is now known as Radheshyam. During the conversion ceremony, his head was shaved, he was bathed in Gangajal (holy Ganges water), and he was formally inducted into Sanatan Dharma through full Vedic rituals, following which he was given the name Radheshyam. People gathered on the occasion and congratulated Radheshyam on this transformation.

After embracing Hinduism, Radheshyam said, “Hinduism is grand and filled with rich traditions. Everyone is viewed equally. In Sanatan Dharma, religious places and rituals are accessible to all. I have been influenced by the traditions of Sanatan Dharma since childhood. In Hinduism, women are worshipped as goddesses. No other religion gives such reverence to women. Even the Earth and rivers are considered as mothers in this faith.”

Radheshyam had married a Hindu woman named Lakshmi. It was his wife’s deep devotion to Hinduism that inspired Anwar Sheikh to transform into Radheshyam.
