Shivamogga (Karnataka) – The incident of a Brahmin student who had come to appear for the CET examination at Adichunchanagiri College at Tirthahalli in Shivamogga district has triggered outrage across the state. The Brahmin Mahasabha and Vipra organisations have expressed strong displeasure over the incident. Legal action has been taken against the officer immediately. Minister Madhu Bangarappa has given the directive to the District Magistrate of Shivamogga to suspend the concerned officer immediately.
