Ah yes, the “peaceful” reaction — pelting stones at Balaji Dham Mandir in Deoband (U.P.) after being told not to play cricket outside. 🏏⛩️
Two sevaks injured, of course.

According to reports, while playing cricket, the ball landed inside the temple. When the sevaks came out and asked the boys not to play there, an argument broke out. (Had Hindu boys been playing outside a mosque and the ball entered it — would they have been allowed to continue? – Editor)
Tensions escalated, and around 11 PM, a mob of 35 to 40 individuals gathered and launched a stone-pelting attack on the temple. Sevaks Vijay Prajapati and Ansh Sharma sustained injuries in the assault.
Bajrang Dal activists quickly mobilized and staged a protest in response to the incident. Police forces arrived at the scene and brought the situation under control. Authorities have assured further investigation and necessary action against the culprits.
Editorial PerspectiveEven as Yogi Adityanath’s government in Uttar Pradesh enforces law and order with an iron hand, radicalised Muslims still dare to attack temples — a clear reflection of their deep-rooted audacity and defiance. |
