Shriramlalla showcased on Uttar Pradesh’s tableau in the R-Day parade at Delhi’s Kartavya Path
New Delhi – Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in the country. President Droupadi Murmu hoisted the National Flag on the Kartavya Path. Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Chief Guest, French President Emmanuel Macron were present at the event. Thereafter, the grand parades on the famous Kartvya path featured the participation of the Indian armed forces and paramilitary forces and the most awaited tableaus of all States representing the rich culture and spiritual heritage of India.
The Maharashtra Tableau was based on the theme of 350 years of the coronation of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, while the Uttar Pradesh tableau was based on ‘Ayodhya: Vikasit Bharat – Samrudh Virasat’ (Developed India – Illustrious heritage). Shriramlalla murti was shown in the front of the tableau. Other States too displayed their tableaus on various themes.
