In some Districts of Jharkhand, the religious fanatics attacked the processions on the day of pranapratishtha ceremony

Giridih (Jharkhand) – Incidents of attacks on Hindu processions on the inauguration day of Shriram Mandir by Muslim fanatics in different districts of Jharkhand recently occurred.

Attacks occurred at 3 areas in Giridih. The first incident took place near Line Masjid in Giridih town, while the second incident took place in Purnanagar near Shriram Mandir where the fanatical Muslims pelted stones at the Hindus during a procession. The Hindus too retaliated by stone pelting. Some people were injured in this incident. The Police have arrested Mohammad Jabir in this case. Sangh Swayamsevak Rohit Mahto, a young man, was seriously injured in the incident at Azadnagar.

In Hanhat village of Lohardaga District, a festival was being celebrated in a temple on 22nd January. Because of the song that was being played on the loudspeaker on the temple, fanatical Muslims carrying sticks surrounded the temple. Many Policemen were immediately deployed at the temple as soon as the they got this information. An attempt is being made to normalise the situation through peaceful discussions between representatives of both the religions.

On 21st January  in Kadaiya village and 22nd January in Chhatabad village of Dhanbad District, clashes broke out between religious fanatics during processions in whichsome people were injured. Police tried to pacify both the mobs.

Editorial Perspective

Although a magnificent Shriram Mandir has been erected on the birthplace of Shriram, the country will not have a true state of Ram Rajya if the descendants of Babar are still there in the country. Therefore, the Hindus need to make sure that they are dealt with properly.
