Incident in Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh)
Aligarh (UP) – BJP leader Ruby Khan from Aligarh has received a death threat for organising a puja at her house ahead of the consecration ceremony of the Shriram temple in Ayodhya on 22nd January 2024. A letter threatening to kill her was thrown by an unknown miscreant into her house on the night of 4th January. The letter read, ‘You have become a devotee of Shriram. You and your family will be killed in the next 72 hours.
The incident took place in Mamoon Nagar in the Shah Jamal area which comes under the jurisdiction of Rorawar Police station. Ruby Khan, who is the BJP Jaiganj unit’s Vice-President, has approached the Police and sought an investigation into the matter.
