Anti-India slogans and slurs about PM Modi were written on the walls of the temple

California (USA) – Khalistanis wrote anti-India slogans on the walls of Vijay Sherawali temple in the Hayward area here. Slogans such as ‘Khalistan Zindabad’ and slurs about PM Modi were also written. The Hindu American Foundation has circulated pictures of these slogans on social media. The matter has been informed to the Police.
In the backdrop of such repeated attacks on Hindu temples in the US, there is a demand to install CCTV in these areas. This will help identify the culprits. A few days ago, there was a similar attack on the Swaminarayan temple in Newark, USA, while an incident of theft took place in the Durga temple. Foreign Minister Dr S Jaishankar has made a statement about the attack on the temple in Newark. He had said, “I have seen this news. We are concerned about this issue. Extremist and separatist forces outside India should not be given any space. We have filed a complaint with the US authorities. It is hoped that appropriate action will be taken in this matter.”
