Controversial RJD MLA Fateh Bahadur Singh Kushwaha poster
Patliputra (Bihar) – Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MLA, Fateh Bahadur Singh, put up posters describing temples as a “Path to mental slavery”. The posters were placed in front of party leader and former Chief Minister Lalu Yadav’s residence in Patna. The poster, commemorating the birth anniversary of social reformist Savitribai Phule, features a quote by her emphasising temple as “A path to mental slavery” while referring to schools as the way to “Enlightenment in life”. The posters display the images of Lalu Yadav, his wife Rabri Devi, and Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Yadav. Apart from this, there are pictures of Lord Buddha, Emperor Ashok and photographs of Savitribai Phule and other people.
The poster reads – the temple means the path of mental slavery and the school means the path of light in life. When the bell rings in the temple, we get the message that we are moving towards superstition, heresy, stupidity and ignorance. When the school bell rings, it sends the message that we are moving towards universal knowledge and scientific enlightenment. Now you have to decide which direction you want to go.
Editorial Perspective
Not only those who do not understand the importance of temples, but also those who hate temples make such statements ! Since no action is taken by the Government, they continue to insult Hindu Dharma by making such statements again and again ! This situation will be changed in the Hindu Rashtra ! |
