Canada-based notorious gangster Lakhbir Singh Landa declared ‘terrorist’ by India

New Delhi – The Indian Government has declared Lakhbeer Singh Landa, a notorious gangster, as a ‘terrorist’. This action has been taken based on the attack on Police Intelligence Headquarters in Mohali, Punjab. Landa is in Canada and operating against India from there. He is connected to the banned Khalistan terrorist organisation, ‘Babbar Khalsa’. NIA has registered several criminal cases against him. India is now trying his extradition.

Landa has been accused of supplying arms and explosives from across the border to carry out terrorist activities in Punjab. He is also involved in extortion, murder, and drug trafficking.

Editorial Perspective

Khalistan terrorists getting support from Canada is a serious issue. India should raise this issue globally and put pressure on Canada.
